For what must i pay

I know that this might be a long time coming but why should i be paying tv licence? I make use of the DSTV service so what should i be paying a TV licence. I dont watch any of the government channels. I paid a ortune for my tv and now i must pay to use it?! This TV licence is just like the E- TOLL system. Im paying for the thing thats making me pay. ARE U CRAZY?!
