Last year I purchased the 16 session groupon voucher for Laser Hair Removal by Shalin Salon.
For my first 3 sessions i received treatment off a large laser hair removal machine. A day before my next session i was called to say they had to send their machine in for a service. I was due to go overseas for 2 months at the time. When i came back they were working with a new machine. I was told that although the machine is smaller it works in the same way, it can sometimes be slightly slower, but they will give me 3 extra sessions to compensate. I went back for several more sessions until i realised it was not working at all, hair was no longer falling out and in fact my hair was growing back at an alarming rate.
I stopped the sessions all together when i learnt she was using a home DIY machine, and failed to let any clients know. When i confronted the owner via email, she thanked me for bringing up such concern & informed she would be getting a new machine in 3 weeks time & she would replace all my sessions. It is 3 weeks later & she has yet to receive the machine, blaming the delay on needing to replace a part. I cannot trust this lady & feel people need to know of this & avoid
