I purchased a Groupon voucher of 8 sessions of hair removal and I have seen little visible results due to the fact that the equipment turns out to be an Espil IPL machine designed for HOME use!
It is also an IPL not a laser machine. This is what I googled and discoved:
"IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light machines and it is important to remember that IPL are not true genuine Lasers. Many companies incorrectly claim to advertise "laser hair removal" but in actual fact use IPL. As IPL uses a broad light spectrum, it cannot isolate the exact wavelength needed for destroying the hair follicle and thus exposes the body to other unwanted wavelengths of energy. When you pay for "Laser Hair Removal", you want to make sure that this is what you are getting..."
The Groupon advert stated: "Save up to 80% on four, eight or 16 sessions of laser hair removal for underarm or bikini at Shalin Health and Skincare. Before being discovered by spas, lasers were used solely for slicing roast lamb on Christmas. Appreciate lasers with today's Groupon and save 80% on up to 16 sessions of laser hair removal at Shalin Health and Skincare...
