Rip Off and Wrong Diagnosis of Problem

We had a general power outage on Sunday 9 June 2013. On the Tuesday evening we realised that our deep-freeze wasn't working properly. I phoned up AAA Home Services and they sent someone around on Wednesday morning. Apparently, the problem was a fan motor that had packed up. The quote was R1, 923.00.
I told them to hold on to the repair, as I wanted a second opinion.
I called Defy and they quoted me R348.00 for the part and informed me where I could get one in Randburg.
(I did not buy the fan motor - turned out I didn't need to!)
I asked them who I could get to install it. They gave me the name of a technician who came around on Friday morning. He opened up the freezer, checked the fan motor. No problem! Apparently a wire had come loose. He re-cabled the motor and charged me R350.00! The freezer is working perfectly! I still had to pay AAA R295.00 for the call out, even though their original diagnosis was wrong! What a rip off AAA Home Services is!
