My partner orders items online and has it delivered to Benmore Post office which is in close proximity to my place of work in Sandton. I have fetched 2 parcels from there already, I usually deal with a lady named Cynthia. Today I had to wait more than 45 minutes in the queue, the service is pathetically slow, and when I finally got to the counter, the guy told me that I need a copy of my partners ID to collect the parcel. I have never been asked for this before, I usually collect and I present a copy of my ID or drivers licence and they issue the parcel to me. He constantly repeated the rules and showed me a copy of them. I told him I understood however I was never asked to present a copy of my partners ID before and I don't have it now and I need to collect the parcels! He called the lady named Cynthia who I dealt with before and she blatantly denied having served me prior, I was gobsmacked and disgusted and subsequently stormed off. The service, attitude and long waits in queue are a problem. A customer even attempted to contact the branch manage
