SA Post Office
Post office loses my licence after taking it fo

Went to collect a parcel yesterday. Was asked for identification and only had my driver's licence with me. The clerk took my licence and went into the back room where parcels are kept. 10 minutes later she returns to inform me that my parcel was sent back to the sender as they can only keep post for a month. I accepted that and asked for my licence back. She starts feeling around in her pockets and goes back into the back room. A few seconds later she returns with her handbag and informs me, a paying costumer, that it is her lunch break and she will look for it after lunch and place it in my post box. To keep the peace and thankfull that she will make an effort to return my licence, I told her it was fine. After work, I returned to get my licence in my post box... but there was nothing in the box. Today I returned and asked the same lady if she found my licence. She replied "no, wait here" and goes into a back office. She returns with a guy (manager I presume as he did not introduce himself) He just asked what the problem is and I told him the story. He replied that the clerk told him that she returned my licence, and he regards the situation as settled. I got a fine today
