I was so excited receiving my package that I went straight to Benmore Post Office as I got my receipt. There was a long Queue and an half hour past where we were waiting. The Staff wasn't in any hurry to help.By the time I got to the front the clerk asked my ID. I handed him my ID but it is still on my maiden name. Bluntly he refused to help me as the order was on my married name. I went back to work where I got a copy of my marriage certificate. Went back to the Post Office and went straight to the clerk who was rude and blatantly ignoring my arguments even after showing my him my other cards and payslip with my married name. He refused to help me and said I needed to stand in the queue again? (this time it was even longer) I asked to speak to his manager. She basically told me to ask the people in line if it was ok with them if they helped me? (how humiliating and what kind of managerial skills is that?) The clerk started shouting at her telling her he won't help me... She did nothing? I begged another staff member to help me and she did after putting out a Just Married Couple feeling sorry for me... as they know what they will have to deal with in future at Benmore Post Office.
