I sourced a bridal shop to buy my wedding dress from. The retailer "vonregenbridal" would be the retailer of choice. 3 months prior to wedding, I try a dress from the shop, ordered and paid deposit. 5 weeks to go to wedding "Fred" is MIA. I email and request in several communications for a fitting, Fred eventually comes back with a response that the dress is made in France and that they working round the clock but I can come for a fitting that SAT. 2 week prior to my wedding, I fit and dress i too long and gapping at the back. 1 week prior to wedding I pick up the dress and fit at friends home, the dress is different now and cut wrong with beading falling off and cut 3 inches to short, I go back and fit again and show him dress is too short. Fred offers to fix it 3 days to weeding, "there is not enough material!! gown seems old and worn. I request my money back and the owner of the company said that he cannot give money back to every bride that complains... mmm maybe there are others??? Now R10 000 down, with a second hand dress, cannot resell due to the poor quality. A fairytale hanging in a bag that has seen better days, and Fred is lounging on my money having a cocktail
