I have since mid 2012 been bombarded with nasty / bullying sms's and telephone calls from VVM to settle an 8ta account which I never opened. I repeatedly asked them to provide a copy of the contract to which the reply (when phoned) was "you are the one who should have it". The countless sms's received threaten legal action to which my reply (which nobody ever read) was that I'd welcome same.
On 28 April 2012 I received a letter at my home address which was on bright red paper threatening that they have me on record as being a director of a particular company and should I fail to settle their clients account I could be disqualified from acting as director of said company.
I called them on 3 April 2013 to request a copy of the contract only to be told that they do not have it but could request their client to provide same on condition that I send them a sworn statement / affidavit stating that I did not open an account with 8ta. I mention that I refuse to make a statement for something I never did i.e. opened an account. The "so called" consultant summoned his "so called" supervisor to address me and began babbling away the same rhetoric. I terminated the call..
