"OVERDUE ACCOUNT" OPP010100241

I got a call from the call centre operator regarding an account for delivery of chronic medication for my husband. I told the lady that we paid this account (which is dated back to 2010) and she asked me if I would be able to locate the proof of payment. I said I would look back but I knew that it was paid. She said she would make contact again and see if I had the proof. Today I noted on my husbands profile with Transunion ITC that a default listing has been placed on by DPP Attorneys. Firstly, we only used Optipharm to deliver the meds once because they were late with the delivery and my husband did not have any blood pressure medication available to take. Secondly this is chronic medication and the total amount came to R297.42 - the medical aid paid R95.26 and we paid the diff of R202.16. We then went back to going to the pharmacy every month. I have the proof of payment and given the fact that this account dates back to 2010 - over three years ago for R202-16, DPP are saying that we owe them over R900. One phone call and one sms!!! My husband demands that this default be removed forthwith. We spent years getting our profiles up to date and DPP come and mess it up. Fix this!!!
