Like many other complainants, SSDA sms me, demanding R5263.80 in so-called arrears. Latest sms this afternoon at 13:30. Same story as many others: first VVM started pestering me (I guess) around 10 years ago. I ignored it until they started calling me (I guess) about 2008. I explained I last had a TV in the 90s (I guess). I don't have a TV, don't want one, don't watch TV. Clearly someone received & acknowledged cancellation at the time, as no-one bothered me back then, for a number of years. When VVM called me, I explained & once faxed all I could including an affidavit. I even received a sms that the matter has been settled. Regrettably, many cellphones an replacement sim cards later, I don't have that sms anymore. Then a wonderful year or so, with no threats / harassment. Until SSDA started. LEAVE ME ALONE!!!
