I have recently begun receiving a welter of phone calls, emails and SMS's from Shapiro et al (SSDA) concerning a licence for a TV set owned by someone else (reference 507877231). I have explained to them in writing that this matter had previously been settled long ago with VVM (who were also acting on behalf of the SABC). SSDA could easily confirm this by referring to the relevant file. But SSDA have neither acknowledged my correspondence nor responded to it and they continue to harrass me. I wonder if they have such poor administration or whether they have no interest in resolving the matter because they are collecting fees from the SABC while it remains unresolved.
