Unprofessional and rude to clients!!!

We received a call from Anna telling us that our account has been handed over to them. We explained that we didnt know that we owed a Dr Ebersohn and asked her to send us all the details. I then contacted the Dr and he referred me to the accounts lady (Karen) but said to call her between 9am and 1pm. Karen then said I should send her the details from Debttec and she'll speak to them to cancel their request to hand us over. I explained to her that after the delivery of my son I received letters from lancent and the Pediatrician and I settled all outstanding accounts which the medical aid short paid and I didnt receive any letters from them. She said as soon as we pay the account I must send the proof of payment to her of which I did. Today my husband received an sms that he has been listed! I phoned Anna and when I try and explain to her that we had arranged with the Dr's office and had paid the account, she screamed and shouted at me! She told me its my responsibility to read my medical statements and I should pay their fee and put the phone in my ear whilst I was talking to her! What a rude, unprofessional human being! Is this the kind of people debttec hires? I refuse to pay!
