I pay close to R4000 per month to discovery medical aid- each and every month and have been paying them for over 3 years! For the first time this year i needed to take my children for an in hospital operation and Discovery after the operation Discovery does not even notify me that they have not paid the Doctor's in full and when i query the unpaid bills from the Doctor's they say they have refused to pay all the bills in full and they have only paid a portion on the bills and the rest i must pay myself!!! I am on the Essential Comprehensive plan! that costs R4000 per month and this is what i get!???
So i must pay discovery R4000 per month to discovery AND still pay DOCTORS myself on top of that!??
What need are they!!! Discovery is a rip off and and a waist of money! If i had been saving my money all along by now i would have a lot of money saved instead of giving it away to the FAT cats at discovery who spend my money then refuse to pay my hospital and Dr's bills! PURE RIP OFF!!!
