Jansen van Rensburg and Partners did a biopsy on my husband. Dr or Assistant on duty (name unknown) inserted the needle. Husband had to return within 2 hours to undergo another scan, to see that all was fine. Lucky he did not leave the premises. He returned earlier. Once he arrived an 1/2 hour earlier, he was told by Dr Botha to sit down. She advised that she was there to assist as the attending Dr/Assistant had a "BIG FRIGHT". Dr advised my husband that he was going to emergencies and that she needed to insert a drain into his LUNG/RIB CAGE otherwise he would suffocate, other Dr/Assistant (PUNCHERED) his lung. A litre of fluid was drained in a few minutes, if not my husband would have suffocated. He was admitted to hosp and more scans medicine etc was done, he came home after 2 days. My hosp bills is 13 thousand and now due to the Dr/Assistant that did not do his work properly my Medical Savings account is depleted for the rest of the year. My husband is a cancer patient now and we have no money for meds. Other bills are still going through (no funds) so we will have to pay these bills because of somebody else's Negligence. Date happened 14 February 2013.
