Patient was admitted in hospital, for psych, patients have a limit of 21 days per year for psych. Patient stayed 21 days and also received 7 days for ex-gratia - extra.
All was in order, authorisations was released, LOS updated and approved. Claim on 319 days old, still not paid. Every time I phone to follow up on my query I've opened, it was not even attended to and every time the next person I speak to has a different story, when I get upset and asked why they are not assisting, the person I'm speaking to has a bad attitude.
I have had the most horrible experience with this medical aid, and I will never recommend any one to join them.
