Being reffered by doctor to neuroligist. At Wilmed Park, Klerksdorp to be admitted for X-rays and scan for constant headache as a emergency patient.
Polmed been called by hospital staff for authorization. Authorization declined because Iam on Lower Plan.
Go back to neurologist, consultation and the pain that I suffered at that moment, he felt that he should admit me and referred me to Anncron Hospital. Once again hospital staff indicated that Polmed wont pay, because Lower Plan members are not covered for this.
What suprised me is that almost 2 years back Polmed paid for my scans, now all of a sudden things have changed.
Iam sitting with this pain at home, because I cannot pay the fees as a private patient.
