We arrived for lunch at 13H00 after booking a table on Sunday 24 March 2013. After arriving I had to call a waiter twice to bring us the wine list. A half an hour later we received our drinks order. A further half an hour later we received our starter order. Two tables next to us left due to bad service. The waiter told me that the food would be ready in 10 min. After another half an hour I asked for the owner, this was also an issue as he was nowhere to be found... I stood up and went to the bar to wait for the manager. There were two other disgruntled guests awaiting the manager complaining about the poor service. I requested the owners number and name. This was provided but Mr Baily was not available and has to date not returned my call. I paid for the drinks we had and during this process the gentleman sitting behind us also asked to settle his bill and cancel his lunch order as they have also been waiting longer than an hour.
We arrived at 13H00 and left at 15H00 without having lunch. The staff couldn't care less and was arrogant and non apologetic... Even Prospero has not had the decency to make any attempt to apologise. This poor service was confirmed at a recent gathering!
