During a two day stay in the hospital for medical tests, Mrs. A. Rossouw was discharged on the 15th of February. Her shoes were missing, and the personnel was ignorant and unhelpful to find them. The situation was reported to various personnel and also eventually to the chief matron. Mrs Rossouw was leaving the hospital barefooted. Such an incident can certainly occur anywhere, but the way it was handled was unacceptable. Nobody is taking any responsibility for the loss. According to the said matron, they turned the hospital upside down. This means the shoes was, which is even more serious. The question is, will Mrs. Rossouw have to bear with this? Is a patient's belongings of such little value to the hospital? It's not like a watch or money, it is your clothing!!! My name is Johan Kruger, the brother of Mrs. Rossouw
