My daughter was admitted in Glynnwood Hospital on the 30th of January, she's epileptic. When the bill was sent to me a few days after she was discharged, I was depressed to find out that all her in-hosptal procedures, I.e. blood tests and the nuerologist, were paid off my MSA. The only bill that was covered from my hospital benefits was the actual hospital stay. What's worse is that the MSA couldn't even cover the total amount billed by the nuerologist, this means that I have to cover the rest. I have 2 kids and with the amount left in my MSA, it won't be enough to cover the 3 of us for the rest of the year.
Last year in June, my daughter had an attack and had to be hospitalized for 2 days, the same procedures were done and everything was paid for from the Hospital benefit. What has changed since then? I'm on Classic Saver and the rate increases every year and it's really expensive, why pay so much money every month if I still have to dig deep inside my pocket to pay for the hospital costs. I was of the opinion that All the related accounts incurred while in hospital are covered from the hospital benefit?
