Equity rents negative suction pumps in the medical field. Our son had to use this device last year February. The 14 day treatment was interrupted for at least 4 days due to a faulty device (which was replaced at least 4 times during the period). We were therefore required to extent the treatment for a second period of 14 days as the wound did not respond favourably due to to the faulty device.
We received no bill (and had no means to contact them as the device was installed in during an operation) - the first communication was a letter from their debt collector 9 months later. After a number of attempts to get in contact with them they refused to engage with us to discuss the matter.
