Lodged a complaint about a new frame that broke on Monday 18 Feb 2013 with Head Office after pathetic telephonic service from the Centurion staff. Manager called me regarding arrangements for my new frame to Fourways the next day. Wrong frame was delivered on Tuesday. I received no feedback / update from manager regarding arrangements for the correct frame to be delivered. This after Torga Optical Fourways contacted Centurion with correct frame details.
Centurion office also insists that SANDF patients sign the order form BEFORE receiving their glasses. This is a contravention of National Treasury & State Tender Board Regulations. Patients may only sign forms AFTER having received their glasses. This is CLEARLY printed on each order form. Will report this matter to the Medical Fund as well.
SpecSavers will not see me again!!! Nor will I ever again recommend them to anyone!
