My Friend booked into the Fancy and Pricey Hyde Park Sandton Sun Hotel (011 341 8080) on 01/02/2014.
Around 9.30 pm in the evening she called me. Totally hysterical and in Panic. Someone opened her door on the 3rd floor with a card key. Luckily she had locked the door on the inside or who knows what could have happened to her.
She immediately called reception that claimed the she didn see anyone entering the lift from reception area, as this is the only area from which anyone can go to the suites upstairs.
My friend thereupon insisted to speak to the night shift manager, and she was put through to another receptionist that claimed she is in charge and that there is NO NIGHT SHIFT MANAGER. Her name sounded like Leledo.
This lady simply deny knowing anything, saw nothing and simply didnt seem interested to find out what could have happened. No interested at all to help.
Upon request to have the cctv cameras checked to see who could have tried to enter her suite she was told there are NO CCTV CAMERAS.
NO CCTV CAMERAS. NO NIGHT MANAGER!!
AND THIS IS A UPMARKET HOTEL IN HYDE PARK?
Should a hotel guest be or murdered before management wake up??
