On 7/2/2013 I made reservations for my wife and I to have dinner at the Queens Hotel & Casino's Junction Restaurant as part of their valenitines day promotion.
So, last night we had organised a baby sitter, got dressed up and got ready to spend a romatic evening together as it would be the first time since the birth of our child that we would be able to spend the evening together (just the two of us), only to find out that our reservation had not been recorded. When we raised our complaint to the supervisor on duty she requested Ian, the so called food and beverage manager, to try and accomodate us. He simply brushed us off and didn't even give us a second thought.
Well, thank you very much Queens Hotel and Casino for ruining what was supposed to be a romantic evening. We ended up having to get take aways as most of the resturants in Queenstown were fully booked.
In addition, as a frequent guest of Southern Sun, I have never experienced such a lack of customer service by one of their hotels! A very black mark against an otherwise normally good reputation.
