I used Discovery's website to submit an application for chronic medical cover twice with no response, not even an e-mail that says they received my application.
A woman phoned me and asked if I have any issues with Discovery. I told her about my application and she said she was going to follow it up. I then told her that i shall not hold my breath because I do not think that she is going to get back to me. AND I WAS RIGHT! It is now (30 August 2013) three weeks later and I still haven't had any feedback from anyone whatsoever!
I also tried to remove a dependent from my medical aid as the person got their own medical aid. The website looked promising for removing a dependent up to a point, then there is no link or form or contact detail for removing a dependent. It looks like once you have a dependent you cannot remove anyone!
DISCOVERY - Unfortunately I have to belong to them through my employer!
