Medical Aid cover with Discovery Health

My son, Martin Brown, CEO of Radical Holdings (Pty) Limited, manufacturers of custom power wheelchairs and a very healthy C4/5 quadriplegic himself, applied to go on a medical aid, with me, his sole caregiver, as a dependent. That was 3 months ago when Jenus Health responded to his enquiry as to the best medical aid. They recommended Discovery of which we were members before, The only thing Discovery picked up on the records from years ago, is a bladder infection which they are now picking apart with a fine tooth combe. I, as my son's sole caregiver exists on a state pension, yet they have declined his request to have me as a dependent! This matter has gone to and fro with forms and other requirements having been met, but still no joy! Is a disabled person too high a risk for a medical aid??? I am quite appalled at the service we have received so far! The last email I received was from Namhla to tell me to follow it up with Discovery myself!
