Changing of option plan

On the 18th January 2013 i phoned Medshield and i asked the lady that i spoke to i have not received any letter or documents from them stating that to change your plan it needs to be before a certain date, so she send me through the documents that i need to complete to change. Than on the 23rd of January 2013 i asked them how far my query is and they said that they are looking for a motivational letter, which i wrote and send to them on the same day which was on the 23rd January 2013 and than i received a mail stated it was declined and i phoned them on the 5th February 2013 to ask why what was the problem they said that the board members said its pass the closing date. The reason for me to change my medical aid option plan was my husband is no longer working and i cannot afford to pay R5748.00 evey month i just asked to down grade me from the Medibonus Plan to the Core Plus plan which will cost me R3201.00. On the 5th February 2013 i spoke to another gentleman explained to him my situation and i also told him that if thy cannot help me that i have no choice but to terminate my medial aid with them and look for something else.
