Discovery seriously is the worst medical aid scheme ever with all these hidden agendas. I think its sad and really a disgrace that on with less that 2 months to go before my wife gives birth get told that I will not be covered. Through the entire pregnancy there was no Issues. Its said that pregnancy falls under the category of disease are you Kidding me? this is pathetic. I have never ever had to claim from discovery in the past few years I have been a member. Been paying the medical aid with no issues and then this happens. Imagine this you get told no cover for the pregnancy and to get natural birth will cost a minimum of R17 000.I don't know what I am going to do I can certainly assure you that me and my family are at this moment in time. Being the only bread winner in the household how am I going to get through this. discovery was just giving me information about what we can get from the scheme and getting this and that discounts but It was all sugar coating for the real bad news to come. NO COVER- AUTHORIZATION DECLINED. just totally PATHETIC.Out of everybody I have spoken to at discovery has no-one ever told me about being pregnant is a disease and will not be covered
