Complaint / review / scam report
I have been covered with discovery since 2010. Recently I changed jobs and my cover lapsed due to non payment. Before it lapsed I found out I was pregnant and made payment on my cover but weeks after that the money was put back into my account and no one from discovery bothered to call me and tell me that my medical aid had lapsed. I then applied for a new cover and it was approved but now they giving me a waiting period of 12months before they cover my pregnancy. I would like the seniors to look into the matter as I haven't had any joy with the call centre. I spent over R100worth of airtime and no one can assist me. I think its unfair that I have to wait 12months for the cover my pregnancy as I was covered with discovery and also tried to make a payment on my previous cover but discovery failed to let me know that it was cancelled.
