UNBELIEVABLY SHOCKING SERVICE

I had a blood test done at Wilgeheuwel Hospital on the 8th of October 2013. I VERY promptly received an invoice from Lancet demanding payment. I phoned through and explained that I hadn't received my results yet so how could I be expected to pay for something I hadn't received?

To date I have received a number of SMS's demanding payment. I have phoned twice more to explain that I still haven't received results.

I received an SMS today (16th January 2014) saying that I would be handed over to ITC if I didn't pay... I again phoned and was told to pay first and then receive results...

I don't understand... I've now paid them. Let's see if my results ever arrive. Based on experience so far, I've just thrown R730 away.

In Lancets world, one goes to Pick and Pay, pays for all of your shopping and hope that it gets delivered at some time rather than going shopping and exchanging money for goods.

Yet another reason why I'm emigrating...
