Waiting period

We contacted Sizwe in November 2013 to find out about their cover/costs etc. In December 2013 I spoke to Adiel at Sizwe's new business call centre and I specifically asked him if there would be a waiting period. He confirmed due to the fact that I have been insurance with Discovery for the last 4 years there would no be a waiting period as there would not be a break in cover. I should cancel my Discovery fund 31/12/2013 and sent the letter that they will send me with the proposal and all other documents.
I phoned Sizwe this morning as I have not had any confirmation from them. Only to get told that I am on a 3 month waiting period... standard procedure. Funny that their new business division is not aware of this???
I was then told by their underwriting to send an email to the [Email Removed] REPLY???
I will not accept this as this was not the condition I changed over. I have 2 kids and a husband that travels and WILL NOT have changed if a was made aware of the waiting period.
I have not been without medical aid for the last 22 years and not once was there a break in cover or WAITING period.
