I have just joined discovery this month and, but I am already unhappy. I was previously was on Discovery and moved to another medical aid due to my companies own medical aid. I have now changed back to Discovery due to me getting married
I have never had a break in membership, we are on one of the highest benefit Comprehensive classic
and i don't understand why they are giving me a 3 month waiting period. Yes i have a chronic issue (thyroid) which is never going to go away in 3 months i need to do blood tests and see a GP this month
The medical aid is costly and now I have to pay so much to see GP and get tests done and I am not allowed to use it for 3 months? I don't have extra money to spend on Doctors thats why i got and always had the best cover on even my previous medical aid. I am going from a medical aid that I can use to a medical I am not allowed to use for 3 months.
