Fedhealth does not CARE about a custome

I called your customer care centre in December 2013 to confirm the following :
That if my last premium was taken on the 1st January 2014 that I would be covered until the end of January 2014.It is totally unacceptable that your customer care agents can give out incorrect information. I was assured that my Fedhealth cover would continue until the end of January 2014.I have made arrangements to change over to Discovery, based on the information from your staff. I was never informed by them at the time of my inquiry that Fedhealth takes premiums in arrears. I was also told that you required 30 days notice to terminate, my termination request letter confirms this. I also requested that we be covered until the end of January 2014.I have since received a termination letter from Fedhealth, stating that my membership has been terminated as of 31 December 2013, (0 days notice) which is totally against my request to have cover until 31st January 2014. If I was aware of this I would have had my Discovery med cover start as of 1st January 2014.This now leaves us without med aid cover for a full month until the Discovery med aid cover starts. This is not acceptable, This seems to be a deliberate act
