I went for an eye test on 27/11/13. The staff made every effort to upsell me to more expensive frames, sunglasses and costly special offers but when it comes to offering actual service, there is a dire lack. I was told their computers were down and I had to go back to the store to sign the order for my glasses the next day, which I duly did only to find that they were in the middle of a stocktake and could/would not allow me to sign. I was promised an email quote instead, which never arrived despite my third visit to the store. Once I at last received the quote I saw that they had ordered the wrong frames, which were changed. I have been waiting for my glasses for an entire month and have still not heard anything back. No claim has been made to my medical aid. Disgusting service. I will never use Spec Savers again.
