I went to Spec Savers as they had a promotion - one pair of frames free if you get a pair of glasses and frames from them. The Optometrist was very nice but that's where it ended - the whole process was tedious and time-consuming. I didn't get anything free, in fact it cost me more than my normal optometrist, so that is false advertising and I had to pay twice!! That is their process - you can't pay once, you have to pay twice so there are 2 different transactions! I have never heard of that before. Needless to say, I cancelled my order for glasses and, whilst they have refunded my money, I will ever go back to any Spec Savers as the whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth!
