2013/Dec/23 at 19:04. Called in with a query reporting that my claim submission was incorrectly processed. The call centre supervisor (Bradley / Brandon? ) instead referred to my claim as manipulated and insinuated that I was trying to the scheme. I do not take this lightly as this is defamation of my character by discovery. Instead of resolving the issue of non payment I received insults from an incompetent supervisor.
I find it very interesting that when I'm about to close my self payment gap Discovery resorts to cheap tactics of delaying processing of my claims by three weeks; thus ensuring that by the time they attend to my query it's already 2014 and I lose the opportunity to access my above threshold limit.
This is not the first time that I get pushed around by Discovery. Last year DIscovery refused to pay for my son's circumcision, citing that they do not perform or pay for cultural rituals?
The other time, about 2 years ago, they refused to pay for my son's occupational therapy claims even though I had funds. I had to resort to fighting to get my voice heard.
I'd like to remind Discovery that I pay premiums and am therefore entitled to these services!!!
