I recently had to replace my long distance glasses as my old ones had snapped at the handle, and I was told over the phone when I called the nearby Spec-Savers that I would have to have an eye test done as it had been well over a year since my last one. I made an appointment with the Bayside Mall Spec-Savers up the road from me, and had to wait a few days but was penciled in for an appointment. The eye doc was very helpful and thorough, and within an hour I had had my test done, picked out new frames after having tried out most of those available in the store, and ordered my contacts (the new versions they now keep stock of) and put my medical aid details through. The woman who helped us out was great as well, very cheerful and helpful. She said my glasses would be ready within two-to-ten days, and let me take my new contacts then and there without any fuss. Within a day-and-a-half I got a call from them saying the medical aid had paid for everything and the glasses were ready for collection! Amazing turnaround time, and great service. I am very happy with my new & much sturdier pair of goggles - many thanks!
