Went in to Spec Savers Alberton City, first of all according to the advertisement that there is buy one get one FREE that is valid until January 31st. Went in and chose my frames. Went in for an eye test on Friday a week later, and asked them to please let me have the quotation of the amount they will be submitting to the medical aid. they also came with a different story that I have to choose cheaper glasses for the special, however did tell them I would pay the difference in cash. I am not allowed to choose designer frames. HOWEVER THE ADVERTISMENT DOES NOT STATE THIS!!! Friday to Thursday is 6 days. No mail has been received. I went ahead to phone them to find out when am I going to receive the mail. I find that Spec Savers has already summited the cost to the medical and making me PAY for both pairs of Glasses. I have never had to deal with such incompetant and unprofessional people.
I will never go there and neither should anyone else.
