Went for tests. Phoned Discovery Health prior to tests for authorisation. Got told no authorisation was needed. When claim was submitted no payment was made. Reason being that authorisation was needed. Been on the phone with numerous consultants, sent numerous emails, spoken to manager and this morning got told that there is nothing registered on the enquiry, just a reference number. This matter has now been unresolved for more than a month, 6 consultants later and lots of promises to keep me in the loop and sort the claim out, I'm no further than the day I first phoned to raise the query. Very bad service and no follow-up. Incompetent consultants that have to deal with queries. Lack of Knowledge on their own systems. No way of contacting the same person twice so you have to repeat yourself over and over. No way of contacting even a manager directly. And worse part is NO method of resubmiting an unresolved claim anywhere on the Discovery Health site. Unacceptable service Discovery Health!!!
