I have moved from my own membership to my husband's membership, before I terminate my membership myself and my ex employer contacted discovery and they confirmed a seamless transfer and a cost less transfer to the membership. Months later I receive letters that there is an amount owing of R 4200.00. I then contacted the call center and said they must draw their voice recordings of the from the 5/07/2013 - 19/07/2013 where the call center agent told me that there will be no cost and I have receive no feedback regarding my requested. I eventually paid the amount a month ago just to ensure that my credit profile is not affected and jet again discovery health list me on the bureau and still didn't provide me with feedback.
I expect feedback ASAP otherwise this will be forward to the medical ombudsman for resolving. We as a family pay R 8 000.00 for medical cover and they still go and do this, discovery is a disgrace of a medical aid if I wasn't force if would really move my benefits.
