On 14 march 2013, i contacted Discovery to request a new Medical Aid Membership card. my surname had changed and i need a card that reflects this change. please note, this is not the first time i have requested a new card. i spoke to a gentleman who 1) assured me that i will receive a new card and 2) took my physical address as the card will be "couriered to me" (REF: 2766570501). almost a MONTH later (9 april 2013) i had to follow up, as i had not heard anything from a courier or Discovery. A lady, Anita, informed me that under no circumstances does Discovery courier membership cards, that she will follow up on this, and phone me back that same day (REF: 2798176642). i am still waiting for that call and my membership card.
this is the second time this year that Discovery call center employees have either spoken non-truths or given out grossly wrong information to me. horrible, horrible service.
