2pm my daughter went for her standing script at said pharmacy, they never had stock and advised it would be there by 5pm. We left without the goods but received a mail from the m/aid 05/11 showing the said transaction was processed. 2 weeks ago, we requested a statement and to our horror, there were several transactions billed double @ the same pharmacy on goods not received from them which we had to query. I went in today, spoke to the "manager" who, without apologising, said that even if there is no stock, the script is processed and the client contacted to advise once the goods are received. We have been patients of this particular pharmacross in excess of 10 years and have never experienced this type of hilarious practise from the previous staff! GOODS NOT RECEIVED CANNOT BE PROCESSED UNTIL THE PATIENT RETURNS TO COLLECT! In my anger I requested the transaction be reversed but realised my daughter needed it and asked them to give the medication as it has already been processed. I then left my daughter, upon my return they were busy cancelling the script for her to collect elsewhere. WHAT A REPUTATIONAL RISK! HAS THIS BECOME COMMON PRACTISE @ THIS PHARMACY?
