I had swine flu 2009 which left many medical accounts. In 2010 had an X-Ray by Dr Lamprecht, Vogel / partners. I had accumulated R120 000 of medical bill at that stage. The amount for the account was R307.60 as I paid an amount of R100 on the 26/11/2010 thus having a balance of 207.60. Yesterday 4/11/2013 I received a call from Naomi Boshoff of ergometric informing me that I now owed R469.99 and that she would place me on ITC and sent me threatening documentation. I informed her that I am under debt review and that arrangements had been made with all my doctors I owed money to. I then received an sms from Estee from the same company saying that they would settle for R350.00 and if I paid the amount on the 7th. I checked my payments that I had made between 21/5-31/10/2012 to the amount of R400. My calculations is that they owe me R192.40 plus interest. I sent proof of payment and was told I am stupid for not putting the reference number on and that they did not know who the payment was from. Please Help!! I have had the experience's that once you start paying the outstanding account you do not receive statements so you do not know where you are.
