We had visited the spa for a full day treatment we advised the bookings office that we are vegetarian. When we arrived no vegetarian meal was prepared for either breakfast or lunch, Thomas advised that we should just eat the cornflakes and EGGS for breakfast. For lunch we were expected to eat the steamed veggies that accompany the buffet. Clearly Bakwena had not catered for our specific needs. The chef of the hotel was able to arrange a pizza for us which needless to say was the most awful pizza I have seen and tasted. The during our body scrub the therapist attending to my husband continuously coughed over him and was exceptionally rude. The Jacuzzi room is in a state of disrepair, none of the jets worked, neither did the light in the shower. The shower and Jacuzzi were terribly dirty marked with mildew and water grim lines. It was clear the building and especially the Jacuzzi room was severely dilapidated. To top of the exceptionally poor service both my husband and I forwarded our concerns and dissatisfaction to the Spa manager on 30 September 2013 via email, to date we have not even received the decency of a response.
This was a complete rip of and terrible experience!!
