I called Protea Hotel Midrand to book a table for two for the Buffet Breakfast for this Saturday that had passed, 20th April 2013 as it was my Husband's birthday and we love a good, BIG breakfast. I confirmed with the Manager, Johann Pool via email that we needed a certain type of diet and that it was my husband's birthday but I, myself was taken by surprise witht the awesome welcome we received and that they went the extra mile and gave him a slice of cake as well as got a few staff members to sing for him when they brought the cake. That for me, was the best as I did not even expect that. My hubby had a wonderful experience and one that he will never forget. Needless to say, Protea Hotel Midrand's Restaurant is one that we will frequent from now on... especially the for the delicious and plentiful Breakfast!
