I bought a voucher on Wikideals for La Rocca Restuarant in Canal Walk. The voucher was for a Tuesday for 300gram Ribs, 1/2 Chicken & chips platter. When i got to La Rocca on Tuesday 22.10.13 i handed the voucher over & when my meal came i was disgusted by what i saw on the platter. The ribs consisted of one piece of Bone & i asked the waitress how many grams is that as the voucher indicated 300g but the ribs on the platter did not even look like 50gram, the waitress responded saying she dont know as the chef in the kitchen weighs the food. i asked her to rather make it a takeaway as i go to restuarants often & i know how 300g ribs should look. she then went to the manager on duty & he added another piece of rib & came to me telling me that he added another piece not even apologising!!! To me it is not about getting an extra piece of rib, the correct prtion shoud have been given in the 1st place & the fact that the manager didnt even have the decency to apologise really put me off. I told him that it is not about an extra piece, it is about being ethical & that i would rather take my takeaway & leave. La Rocca Canal Walk wont see me again. Poor service from management.
