On evening of 9 May 2013, we sat down for the "All you can eat" Ribs & Wings Special at Golden River Spur, Fish Hoek. The waitress brought our food to us. We ate our fill of ribs and wings until we had enough ribs and finished the delicious wings. At this stage we sat for approx 40mins WITHOUT service to our table to ask if we were ok with the food and if we would like anything elce. Eventually the waitress REMOVED our plates and we asked for some more bottomless wings to be brought to the table. The waitress returned and said that because we didnt finish our ribs we could NOT receive wings until we finished ALL our ribs. Being treated like a CHILD and told to finish ALL my food wasnt enough until the manager came over, slopishly folded his arms, rolled his eyes at us and leant against the table opposite and continued to tell us the same garbage. I was shocked when he even offered to bring our old ribs back from skullery so we could finish them first before we get any more wings!! Nowhere does it state this in ANY terms and conditions and he told us its "standard", but its not stated anywhere?? R110 per person and we werent aloud more wings because we didnt finish all our food!! Shocking!
