South African Nursing Council
Ordering Distinguishing Devices over the counte

I was appointed by my aunt (a qualified enrolled nurse) to purchase distinguishing devices for her, over the counter as posting of such usually results in their loss. At the SANC Pretoria I carried my ID, my aunt's certified ID copy and a form filled by my aunt authorizing me to purchase two sets of the distinguishing devices. At the counter the woman responsible for handing out the devices said the hand writings on the form were not consistent & accused me of forgery. She shouted at me in front of her colleagues & at other customers. She had the upper hand so she did as she pleased, she refused to give me the badges at first but after protesting since I came all the way from KZN she decided that she would only give me one pair. I went back to KZN had another form filled came back, luckily got served by a gentleman names Sello/Samuel, he didn't give me any problems served me well. As he was serving me Margaret was ranting besides him about how she doesn't allow purchases of two devices at once, the man explained that such saves time & eliminate queues. She was not convinced, she ranted on. This woman is unprofessional, unhappy with her job/post & her superiors should discipline he
