For the last four years every month I book in to stay at the lodge for my business trips to Limpopo, the last few months have noticed a general drop in service in all departments. The restaurant staff have are generally too preoccupied with having fun to make sure the tables are looked after and the kitchen does not seem to think your time is important as your food order can take a little longer than what you would expect. The buffet breakfast is fair but if you order a poached egg it can take longer than if you ordered a steak.
This week I made my normal booking only to arrive and find that the receptionist had just given my room away and I had to find alternate accommodation witch ended up in me having to cut my trip short by a day and cancelled my appointments loosing potential turnover. In short. Bad service all around and what seems to have become an attitude of we are always fully booked so if you don't like it go elsewhere.
