It was my husband's birthday and I wanted to surprise him with a special night and spa treatment at Leriba Lodge (16 - 17 March 2013). The booking was made for a 5 star Business Executive Room and fully paid in advance (R1760!!). On our arrival we checked in, nobody to assist us to our room or to help with the luggage. After asking a waiter along the way where the rooms are we got to room nr 60... To our surprise, the curtains were dirty and the fridge locked?! We phoned reception asking for another room. Then we got to room nr 68. Broken lamp and the carpets in the hallway are dirty and covered in spots. Even patches of paint scrapped off next to the door. The spa was not up to standard at all. I took photos of the above mentioned. Wish I could publish for you to see. With breakfast the next morning again no service. We had to go into the kitchen to ask for the chef to make us some scrambled eggs! What a disappointment!!!
